Officialy Metro Cities are defined by their
population. In earlier times a metro city was a city which had a
population of over 1 million, i.e 10lakhs. Ofcourse the definitions
must've changed with time. Now we have megacities as well which are
described as cities with population of over 4 million. In nepal there is only one metropolitan city in Nepal..That is given below;-
